Christmas Craft Fair Photos from Previous Years

The 2023 Christmas Craft Market will be held on Saturday November 25th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

  • Over 60 vendors that offer goods that are made, baked or grown. This is the perfect time to shop for the holiday season or for that special gift. (Please bring cash since many crafters only accept cash)
  • Basket Giveaways (free to enter)
  • VHF Coffee Truck (Indigenous Owned) – features premium espresso based drinks, hot chocolate, and more. @vhfcoffee
  • The Blues Delight – offering hotdogs, fries, poutine, chicken fingers and more. @thebluesdelight
  • Brayden Lowe – Local Dalhousie singer and guitarist (you may recognize him from our summer Farmers’ Market

Registration Process

**Please note that Registration opens Summer 2023. If you would like to be on the waitlist, please email market@dalhousiecalgary.ca.

  1. Email market@dalhousiecalgary.ca photo(s) of the items you are selling and a description of what you are selling including category. Category options include – Cards, Knitting/Crochet, Woodwork, Quilting/Sewing, Paintings/Prints/Photos, Home Decor (not Christmas Themed), Food Products, Books, Christmas Ornaments/Decor, Jewelry, Pottery, Miscellaneous.
  2. You will pay the non-refundable $45 fee at time of application.
  3. Am I able to have the same table I had last year?  You can request a preferred location and we will do our best to accommodate.
  4. You will receive email communication from me closer to the event

FREE to attend. We encourage donations of non-perishable food items for the Veterans Food Bank of Alberta and new toys for Inn From the Cold.

The Christmas Craft Market is offered by the Dalhousie Farmers’ Market and adhere’s to the “Made, Baked, or Grown” in Alberta Rule. 80% of our vendors must have products that are Alberta Made, Baked or Grown. We are an Approved Farmer’s Market and follow rules and regulations set by the Alberta Agricultural Society. By hosting a market, Dalhousie is enabling entrepreneurs to test their products and ideas while keeping costs low, interacting with the community, and learning new business skills. All funds raised by this market will go directly towards community improvement projects.

Craft Market FAQ

  1. Can I register over the phone? No, all registration must be completed online through Amilia. If you have troubles doing your application, we can help you in person at the Dalhousie Community Association.
  2. Am I able to have the same table I had last year?  You can request a preferred location and we will do our best to accommodate.
  3. I am no longer able to participate in the Craft Market, am I able to receive a refund? No, we do not refund any Craft Market registrations.
  4. Can my friend and I share an 8 foot table? Yes, however please remember you cannot obstruct other’s tables and must have your products on or displayed behind your table.  You cannot obstruct other tables or the flow of traffic.
  5. Can I sell my home business products (e.g. Scentsy, Norwex, Candlelit, etc.)? No, this Craft Market is only for handmade/homemade goods that are made by the vendors themselves.
  6. Can I buy two tables?  Not this year.
