Pollinators are in serious decline, with fewer and fewer visiting our gardens never mind making their homes in our gardens. Planting a wide variety of flowering plants with different shapes, colours & fragrance will attract those necessary insects, providing both pollen & nectar for them.

In the workshop, learn about:

• Who are our pollinators and what they need in a garden
• Types of containers, growing medium and amendments
• Best flowering plants to attract a variety of pollinators
• Techniques for transplanting seedlings into containers
• Care of your container- watering, fertilizers, pruning and harvesting
• Then plant up a container with a selection of pollinator-friendly flowers
